Amidst the lush vegetation of Ubatuba, São Paulo, the DRN Residence, designed by Pitta Arquitetura, embodies a sophisticated blend of nature, contemporary Brazilian architecture, and sustainability. Spanning 250m² across two floors, the house was designed to offer comfort, spatial fluidity, and a full connection with its natural surroundings. "The large preserved jackfruit tree on the lot was our starting point. From it, we created an architecture that not only respects but celebrates the existing nature," emphasizes Thiago B. Pitta.

Located in Itamambuca, Ubatuba, the PCW Residence is a project that celebrates the connection between architecture and nature. With 2,799 square feet, this modern beach house was designed to be a sophisticated, welcoming refuge that is fully integrated with the natural environment around it. Using natural materials such as wood, exposed concrete, and glass, the design aims to create a light, airy, and well-lit environment, promoting a unique experience of immersion in the local landscape. "The central idea was to create a space that was not only comfortable but also valued the natural surroundings, allowing the family to feel in harmony with the environment at all times," explains Thiago Brunini Pitta.

The use of natural materials, large spans, and lots of transparency provided great integration with nature, which became the strong point of the project. The architectural solutions adopted in the project were designed considering the climatic characteristics of the location (tropical, hot, and humid climate), always seeking to create spaces with quality and energy efficiency.
