The lack of medical services in the countryside in France has been increasing in the last decades leaving its population in medical-less limbo, in cases taking more than an hour journey to reach a doctor in case of necessity. Thus, the mayor decided to build a small medical center to propose doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, etc. to come and practice locally.

Amiens’s town hall wants to construct a new building for the ALCO non-profit organization. ALCO is a community-based association that dedicates to supporting precarious families in need of cohesion and empowerment. It provides the community with a multiplicity of activities from educational media, plastic art, theater, and poetry, to social mediation in a multiethnic neighborhood.

The Town Hall of Quedillac wanted to build a Cultural Center for the city. The main objective was to battle against capsularisation by providing a place where a diversity of publics could mix and gather around a common ground, thus fostering a social bond among the citizens. The new building would include a multimedia library, a hall – coffee area, a youth space for teenagers, and a childcare section for small children.

Mr. « M » and his family contracted the office to design their new home in a recently purchased small site up the hill of Villejuif city (125m²), a town in the suburbs of Paris. The parcel is located in a garden housing district characterized by single-family homes. The terrain is south-oriented and directly accessible from the main road. The family wished for a three-bedroom house, with a study area, living-dining room, and a garden totalizing a built-up area of around 80m².

Etampes Town Hall wants to build a new community center for the Croix de Vernailles neighborhood, a modern urban area built in the 1960s on top of a hill up north of the city center. The existing facilities are dispersed all over three different buildings in the neighborhood making it very difficult to create a cohesive social project. Moreover, in recent years, the neighborhood has seen a dramatic increase in population making the existing spaces too small.
