Built in the small town of Humpolec in the Czech Republic in 2005, the now iconic Rusty House demonstrated the possibilities of working with a relatively small and tight parcel with numerous limitations.

The administration building of the IPMB firm is located on the main road of the village Konárovice close to the town of Kolín. The building form is a simple block which is undercut in two places in order to have atrium.

This building is located in the centre of Humpolec town, in its developed part near Havliček Square. The building’s spaces serve as a hotel with a restaurant, a wellness centre, and a conference centre. The new building stands on the place of several demolished previous constructions, and at the same time it is connected to the neighbouring renovated buildings of the MHA Company that is the owner of the hotel. The construction has five floors and a basement, which serves as a common garage for cars. The restaurant is situated on the ground floor, as well as spaces for the central building administration. The conference centre occupies the entire first floor. Hotel rooms and the wellness centre can be found from the second to the fourth floors. The top floor acts as an access to the roof terrace. Accommodation capacity is 40 beds.

Garden House at the Pond Másílko / OK Pla

Másílko originated as a water reservoir at the beginning of the last century. It served for supplying the industrial objects in Humpolec, subsequently, as fire reservoir. In 1999 the water area with linking up land was purchased to private ownership and cultivated as a pond.

Humpolec has a long tradition and a very good reputation for fabric industry. The building constructed in 1910 as a textile factory, is located within a complex that consists of several buildings including a luxury art nouveau villa.
