The building is located on a plot close to the urban center of Sant Esteve de Palautordera, near the Montseny Natural Park. Despite being in a privileged environment, the urban conditions of the area allow for little separation between homes, and the developers request a single-story construction.

The town council of Sant Esteve de Palautordera decided to give up the football pitch in the sports area to make way for a new multi-purpose covered space to accommodate all the needs of its growing social fabric. The plot, located at one end of the municipality, was divided into three terraces or platforms occupied by a road at the top, a children's playground in the middle and a football pitch separated by an inaccessible slope acting as an urban "cul de sac".

A young couple with one child and another in the pipeline bought a self-built home in the Floresta Pearson neighborhood of Sant Cugat del Vallès. The house, with a ground floor and basement, adapts to the rugged topography by forming two platforms. The lower one, accessed from the road, contains a courtyard used as a vegetable garden, a car park, and some small spaces for storage. The upper one, next to a slope that denies all the winter sun, divides its space between the dwelling itself and a garden with a swimming pool that borders the surroundings of the Collserola Natural Park. The proposal must act in two directions: to achieve the necessary habitability to quickly occupy the dwelling and subsequently extend the building while generating the right relations with the immediate surroundings.

Carles' family has an old shop in Barcelona's Sants district which they propose to transform into a home. The space has a ground floor and mezzanine encapsulated between a fairly busy street and a small courtyard inside the block. The premises consist of three structural centrelines that support the ground floor building and four upper floors dating from the early twentieth century: a first one with wooden beams between party walls, a second one with the structure along the length of the premises, and, finally, an exit to the courtyard at the back of the plot.

The town hall of Montornès del Vallès proposes the creation of a youth centre to house and direct the activities for young people of the municipality. To this end, a public land is taken to build a rectangular building with a landscaped environment to be conquered and enjoyed by the users of the centre.

The project is based on the upgrade of a 70’s three-store multi-family residential building in the center of Sant Esteve de Palautordera, built with structural ceramic walls. A young couple without children wanted a home adapted to their current and future needs. On the access floor (an old warehouse) there is a Kitchen-Dining Room and a small bathroom and washing room. On the top and upgraded floor, there are three rooms (two of them connected and with a less defined program) and a bathroom. The hallway takes advantage of its situation under a higher roof to illuminate and collaborate with the bioclimatic behavior. The weight of the traditional construction roof is replaced with a new light wooden structure due to its low environmental impact and good thermal performance. The new structural system leans on the existing ceramic structural walls and allows a fast construction process without affecting the foundation of the building and, therefore, the activity of the ground floor restaurant.
