When the main guidelines for the project were socializing with the family, and spending free time together in a summer house but still maintaining privacy, comfort, and practicality, the vision for this project became very clear to us. Florianópolis was the city of choice for this contemporary house, in which the primary goals were discretion and easy maintenance. As it is a summer house, the environmental conditions were, more than ever, fundamental for the implantation of the house. Integrated spaces and uses, with excellent ventilation and sunlight, combined with strategies such as the installation of solar photovoltaic panels as well as a cistern to capture and use rainwater, were the main decisions to provide thermal comfort while requiring the least amount of electricity.

Designed to be a refuge on the beach for a young couple with two small girls, the FL House has in its DNA a stripped-down yet elegant and comfortable design. Located in a condominium on the north coast of Rio Grande do Sul, the house was designed with an integrated layout, that turns to a lake in its backyard.

The AM House Project, completed in 2017, was designed for a couple of old office clients who, experienced and attentive, participated in all the details. They wanted a house that reflected their personality, which was not dated, with the refinement of what is traditional but compromised the priorities of our time: comfort and technology.The house is all automated and has photovoltaic energy, making the project a synthesis of its decisions and intentions of life for the future.
