        <![CDATA[<p>Casa Altiva was built on a gated community lot surrounded by fragments of the Atlantic Forest and close to the city of Recife. The construction features a steel frame combined with masonry made of soil-cement and recycled bricks. Both the design and construction phases involved the active participation of the owners, who aligned themselves with sustainable practices and were highly receptive to innovative solutions, such as rainwater harvesting, a biodigester for sewage treatment, and solar power generation using photovoltaic panels.</p>]]>
