This is an interior design of an apparel studio and gallery. We built a cement fence at a right angle to the window facing the front main street to separate the room into two spaces with different uses. People out in the street can see the both spaces in a single view.

This is the interior design for a fashion shop in Osaka, Japan. By sanding old furniture, I exposed the white foundation, and accordingly I designed new furniture, dyeing them ash white to coordinate with the old.

This project is the interior design for a bakery shop in Kyoto, Japan. The bakery shop is located on the first floor of the building, which has a unique character after surrounding buildings were rebuilt.

The project is a small residence for a couple with one child, situated in Nara, Japan. The neighborhood is determined by a large number of individual houses spread over a gentle slope facing south. During the design process, the lot right beside was yet empty and it was unclear what was going to be built. With this in mind, the design had to be autonomous, yet at the same time it should be able to react positively with whatever was going to be built next door.
