Our renovation of SEESON’s flagship store is located on the ground floor of an office building on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia street, one of the most important axes of Saigon’s heritage. The block, bounded by the four central streets of Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Huynh Thuc Khang, Pasteur and Le Loi, is filled with urban sediments, the co-existence of multiple layers of various eras, including French villas, Republic-era buildings, commercial buildings.

The house is for a family of four, parents, and kids. They are very active in play activities and evidently possess a large collection of stuff collected over the years. The brief calls for a renovation of an existing house, with a strong focus on living spaces, ie, the ground and mezzanine levels.

The project renovates a 75 m2 apartment situated by Kenh Te Canal, Ho Chi Minh City. The agenda was simple: to build a co-living studio for the owner whose majority of possessions consisted of plants and books. Naturally, the idea is to make a unique open-space plan filled with southern light.

A couple of artists asked our office to renovate their newly acquired 2-bedroom apartment in District 2, Hochiminh city. Our main idea was to reorganize the living space by integrating the kitchen and dining space into a single volume of light and ambiance.
