This is the renovation design for the apartment of family of three in Osaka city. The layout that every room has a space for storing one Futon of 3 bedrooms and one bathroom with the stairs under the floor is still there along with equipping the apartment when it was built 35 years ago. We started with redesigning the layout for family of three’s life style.

A hair salon on the fifth floor of a multi-tenant building in Osaka designed by Naoya Matsumoto Design. With “low price, high quality, speedy” as its brand concept, this salon has 13 stations and 4 wet stations set within about a 43㎡(460 ft²) space. Its smooth flow planning and a space composition of “as is” features and sharply defines the concept.

The Seian University is located within the views of the Lake Biwa. The curriculum of the Spatial Design class every year produces their landscape using “reed” grows. This is the second time I used reed, which is grown in Biwako, Shiga, as a material for a stall for a school festival.
