The site is located below the eastern foot of Gyeryongsan Mountain in Daejeon, South Korea. Adjacent to the site where the mountains and plains meet, the entrance to the old trail is located. The new building starts from the topography of the trail from the village to the mountain.

Fabric
Fabric is a flat material. It is used as a flexural surface of an object which is contacted to the human body such as clothes, bedding, and so on. We would like to interpret two-dimensional features of the fabric from a three-dimensional perspective by transforming it from a flat surface to a three-dimensional structure. This is done via stacking thin layers of fabric, not via a standard way like cutting, folding, or sewing.

The Triangle School stages relationships between people, place and education. The interactions between the three elements reveal the complexity of the architecture. Yet, they simultaneously function to make a simple point of intersection. Located in Namyangju, adjacent to Seoul, this high school building explores new possibilities of the educational architecture through the dialectical interpretation of such complexity and simplicity.
