A diverse and high-quality public space for Vienna - On June 20th, the first of three construction phases of the new Pier 22 was officially opened. The first part is spatially and functionally divided into three different areas: the waterfront promenade, the Park-Working area, and (in the future) the Cultural Kiosk. Pier 22's program focuses on a new quality of public space: inclusive architecture and democratization of luxury through free services, robust yet high-quality materials, and a variety of programs. With good subway connections, Pier 22 is a meeting point for the entire city.

A family found their dream home in Klosterneuburg, Austria: a charming compact house from the 1950s at the front of the elongated plot and a beautiful view of the Danube from the back. Initially planning to demolish the existing house, we decided to integrate it into the new building project. A new house was inserted and oriented to create an atrium between the old and new building, connected by a common courtyard.

To build a one-family house in the region of Kitzbühel I, architect Mark Neuner, and the team of mostlikely took a better part of the design process as a research quest on how to build in a contemporary way without neglecting the historic traditions. Questions with great significance in an area where tradition not only weighs heavily on old houses but hardly any new houses that are more daring are to be found at all. This coherent architectural landscape allows for a romantic identity as well as regional authenticity and serves as the layer stone of the tourism industry in this area. To respect and preserve the substance of the idyllic mountain village Going am Wilden Kaiser (the name of the mountain which literally translates to “Wild Emperor”) mostlikely chose to stage the well-known and proven in a new way.
