The core of our client's initial brief was a photograph. The photo showed a family of three generations; grandparents, their five children, and a swarm of grandchildren. This project was to include a country retreat for them all. A new home that could house a lifetime of past and future memories.

With cinematic sublimity, the Wallis Lake House is situated to command box-seat viewing over Wallis Lake on the Mid-North Coast of NSW, Australia. Whether it’s the lake-glass of sunset pinks, the salt spray ocean mists rolling over the Booti Booti National Park, or the expanse of sky horizons with Australian bush foreground, the house is designed to capture it all.

A play of geography, geometry, and light, the Crescent House is a singular, undulating sculpture that weaves through lush, coastal gardens and crescendoes with enchanting views across Sydney Harbour. The clients had long awaited to build their dream home for their young family. They chose the site for the northern aspect, panoramic vistas and direct access to Sydney Harbour foreshore.

Amongst the palm trees; the impression of being in and around the Bilgola Beach Pavilion. Situated on the foothills of Bilgola Beach in Sydney’s north, the pavilion emerges over a sloping meadow of heritage-listed Cabbage Tree Palms. The clients’ brief was to create opportunities for art-making and family gathering.
