The Casa Castanheiras, conceived in 2021, emerges with the mission of providing a welcoming and practical space, perfectly integrated with nature, ideal for celebrating special moments with family and friends. Located in Nova Lima, Minas Gerais, the residence offers the desired tranquility to the family, while remaining close to the center of the state capital. Implementing the house was challenging, having to meet two important legal restrictions. The first, is the servitude area determined by the presence of a high-voltage line from Cemig, leaving only 27 meters of available land from the sidewalk to the beginning of the strip. The second is the obligation to preserve the patch of trees, previously approved by the Secretariat of Environment of Minas Gerais, which occupied the land.

With the growth and development of the southern sector of Belo Horizonte that meets the various condominiums located in Nova Lima, Casa Macieiras was conceived in 2021 with the initial guidelines of materializing a cozy, practical, and nature-integrated space. The family sought the opportunity to live in a calm and welcoming place with the convenience of being very close to the center of the state capital.

The proposal for Belotur headquarters consisted in changing the Municipal Tourism Company of Belo Horizonte and its 87 servers to a new space that housed initially the Bank of Minas Gerais, Rafaello Berti project (1938). It is a building listed by the Municipal Council of Culture in 2008 with a hybrid style (classic academic inspiration and modernist movement) in which its main entrance is well marked by the retreat and discreet elevation. Noteworthy is the porch that rises to the top floor which gives monumentality and prints the noble character of this building. (AP Cultural 2000)

Sapucaí Street, where the project is located, is part of the historical and cultural center of Belo Horizonte, with a privileged view of the iconic Santa Tereza viaduct, Municipal Park and Belo Horizonte Central Station. With a strong tendency to be a gastronomic center, the project brought as demand a sophisticated atmosphere who dialogues with the street.
