Surrounded by the marine environment and the serenity of the mangroves, the innovative development of Puerto Cancun emerges in the northern part of Cancun, establishing itself as a new "hub" for the vibrant city that is growing. In this setting, Espacio comes to life, a mixed-use development that goes beyond being just a building, seeking to create a sense of belonging to the place and establish itself as the epicenter of the expanding community.

The intention of this project is deeply rooted in the understanding of the site as an opportunity to create a sense of place. The house is not perceived as an imposed object but as a tool to uncover the natural events and manifestations specific to the context. The placement of the modules sets a high priority on the disposition of outdoor areas, establishing pathways through them and creating zones of contemplation. This design defines the boundaries that separate the open and the enclosed, enhancing the overall sitewide experience.

Quinta Montes Molina Cultural Center / MATERIA

This project forms part of the original “Quinta Montes Molina” premises and property, located in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. The house was originally built in 1906 and became an architectural icon and emblem of Paseo Montejo, the most notorious avenue in the city in which most of the early-century houses were built during the sisal boom.

Casa U is located in the suburbs of Mexico City in a very steep and hilly site overlooking the Valley of Mexico. The pronounced slope generated a sitting that emphasizes the intimate relationship between the spaces of the house with the site´s topography.
