Arriving at José Ignacio you will find El Secreto, a strip of irregular land formed by the proximity to the dunes and the sea. Preserving these wild surroundings was the main objective while projecting, thus the house is raised to save the sea views and make the least possible impact to preserve the natural existing condition.

This house was designed for a couple who has lived in different countries and chose La Barra to build their shelter in the world, a place where they could go from leisure to musical recordings, which is why the house was designed with a special room with all the needs of a professional recording room. The house, developed in two volumes that articulate a large garden/patio with a pool, consists of different spaces: four comfortable bedrooms, a playroom, a writing-room to think music with a view of the sea through the forest and a large living room with an incorporated kitchen.

The idea was to design a family house in a neighborhood in the north of Buenos Aires with modern and contemporary characteristics, emphasizing the use of materials to generate great warmth and a sense of home. Black metal, black flagstone, and lapacho wood did the job perfectly. We thought that the house for this young and active family should be very versatile and of great communication between the different spaces.

Like a trident deployed from the sea, Nautilus is located in one of Manantiales closest blocks to the beach. A ramp facing the street leads to the entrance of rectangular lines, where the use of wood in exterior cladding, concrete and aluminum stands out. The facade is reminiscent of a ship's deck, a sensation that increases thanks to the use of portholes throughout the house and the spiral staircase to the solarium.

Both volumes of concrete with formwork of brushed pine boards, articulate a patio with a grill space and a swimming pool for the exclusive use of the owners. The rental house has a rooftop pool with a place to sit and a great view.

Pricila House was a bet to a district resurgence. In Buenos Aires, “River” was a residential district that ended up discredited due to the River Plate soccer mega stadium and its recitals. With the resurgence of the Nuñez neighbourhood, River (located just steps away) started to recover its splendor in hand with new institutions, projects, and high-class restaurants.
