History and Place. 105 km north of Lima, where the Andean foothills reach the coastal desert, we enter the Santa Rosa Irrigation Valley, a valley where groundwater generates lush vegetation that is the habitat of a great variety of birds. Surrounded by this idyllic landscape is the Camponuevo farm, which has specialized since 1981 in raising fighting bulls, Peruvian Paso horses, fighting cocks, and free-range hens.

Location. The TRAVERSA HOUSE is located in a cattle ranch in a vast area next to the town Tanlajas (Tan – place / lajas – stones in layers) in the Huasteca Potosi, one of the four regions of the Mexican State, San Luis Potosi. Its climate is warm and humid, with an average temperature higher than 18ºC. The Coy river crosses the land and in the high season, it overflows forming springs and fountains.

The Ronda House is built on a rectangular lot that measures 12 meters wide and 22 meters deep on a priviledged site, facing the Pacific Ocean, a lateral view of white sands and dunes and backed by a beautiful red hill, thus the name of the place: Cerro Colorado (Red Hill).
