The Cobogó Apartment is located in Brasília in a distinguished building designed by Oscar Niemeyer. Despite the quality of the architecture, floor plan alterations were necessary to adapt to the contemporary lifestyle of the new residents. The clients' main requests were the creation of two generous suites and opening up the kitchen to the living room. Originally featuring only one suite, we repurposed the apartment's service and kitchen areas to make the creation of the second suite possible. The cobogó (hollow brick), a facade element of the building that previously appeared exclusively in the service area, became the protagonist of the new suite, which became the master bedroom.
