The principles underpinning the design of Bayswater Early Years Hub “Sunflower” originated from the client vision and through a collaborative approach involving the client, key stakeholders and our practice. The result was a shared vision to create a building which minimises human impact on the environment with an eco-centric design— with the user experience and the surrounding environment being the key drivers for the built space.

A level as well as international level games. Designed as a series of stages that form part of a Master plan for the site, Stage 1 includes the BRSF building, a 2 star FIFA rated turf playing pitch and synthetic training ground.

Completed in 2015, Port Melbourne Football Club Sporting and Community Facility, Victoria, Australia, is a single storey building commissioned by the local City of Port Phillip council to provide a multipurpose space accessible to all. The program includes a 200-person capacity function room, administration offices and stores, meeting and conference rooms and a commercial kitchen and bar.

Designed to provide equal access to daylight across all of the units, the building incorporates a high level of social and sustainable design principles. The design philosophy includes full daylight access to the common internal areas which are typically dark and unconnected.

From Architect: This technologically advanced, sustainably-focused new Civic and Administration Centre is located in the rural setting of Nhill, Victoria. The building was inspired by the town’s identity as a hub of wheat production with steel storage silos and agricultural sheds dotting the landscape.
