An enclosure and a porch. A brick wall shelters and guarantees the necessary security on a 30x24m plot. The enclosure is expressed on three of its sides with the thickness of the material itself, and in the fourth it is widened with 6m to locate the service spaces (barbecue, parking and sanitary spaces), freeing up a 24x24m landscaped space. A porch rises slightly with respect to the height of the enclosure revealing a view above it, establishing a visual bridge with the parks that surround the exterior of the house. The threshold is positioned asymmetrically, clearing a larger garden on its north side and a smaller one on its south side, always moving away from the limits to emphasize the lighting and transversal ventilation of the interior space.

The proposal for the new Torcuato Di Tella University building is presented as a rigorously open organization that integrates the diversity of the campus into a single spatial and structural system. The campus contains particular rhythms and sequences: on the one hand, the large volume on Avenida Figueroa Alcorta with its grid of imposing columns and capitals; on the other, the sheds with their series of frames and cantilevers. The proposal combines both orders proposing an integrated modularity in the cloister of its location.

Barcelona Building Construmat (BBConstrumat), a biennial show that brings together the leading companies in the construction sector, in addition to advocating innovation and digitalization, wanted to promote sustainability and circular economy as keys to the future building. A clear example of this is the design of the common spaces and thematic areas by Josep Ferrando Architecture Studio - the Future Arena, Talks Arena and Meetings Arena. A total of 34,000m2 dedicated to exhibitors, technological advances, debate and business contacts, for which Ferrando has proposed an ephemeral architecture that, according to the unique compositional dynamics of his works, is part of a system that in a logical and economic way solves the problems that it faces, opting for recycling and reuse as key concepts.
