The house is conceived as a sequence of paths that structure the spatial experience and define its way of being inhabited. A primary access ramp, understood as an architectural promenade, proposes a slow and gradual approach in which the architecture is revealed progressively. In parallel, a more direct entrance associated with the arrival by car accommodates everyday use, establishing a duality between the domestic and the ritual.

In a private neighborhood of Adrogué, Buenos Aires, we designed a house that finds its formal synthesis in a grand central void, from where the rest of the house is articulated. A kind of “label” that organized and joined the spaces of the same.

This 450m2 house is located in a corner lot, in a closed neighborhood of the city of Adrogué, in Buenos Aires. In the form of an “L” the house embraces the central garden from the outside towards the inside. To one side, an almost blind façade of rough concrete, in relation to the main access street of the neighborhood, closes to the traffic and to the exterior views. Towards the other street, a cul-de-sac, almost without traffic or neighbors, the facade becomes more transparent and permeable. The interior-exterior continuity, a subject that we wanted to focus on, was achieved through facades that open, slide or are perforated generating different filters that sift the light, control the visuals and give different depths and movement to this house.

In a gated community of Adrogué, we made a project with the objective of achieving a "central" space from where you could understand the whole house. We focused on achieving an open ground floor, interior-exterior continuity and cross ventilation.
