Set within a dense pine forest, the renovation of this villa sought to dissolve the boundaries between interior and exterior, fostering a deeper connection with nature and light. The intervention was guided by a desire for clarity, restraint, and timelessness—qualities subtly revealed in the way the space unfolds and materials articulate. The essence of the project lies in balance: between shadow and light, solid and void, shelter and openness.

The V house is a paradigmatic example of the pursuit of a sensitive integration between architecture and nature, where form and materials organically intertwine with the surrounding context. Organised in a "V" plan, the house is composed of rectilinear volumes that, protecting themselves from the prevailing north and northwest winds, open generously to the south, embracing the garden and the distant sea. This volumetric arrangement ensures privacy and fluidity while creating an aesthetic and functional unity that transcends mere formal composition.

Situated on a steep promontory overlooking the cliffs of Azóia, this architectural intervention stems from the desire for an architecture that fades away to make room for the place. The house dissolves into the topography, merging with the horizon and resonating with the scale of the site. The original construction, composed of a windmill and three interconnected volumes of distinct geometries, revealed complex intersections and a roof with unique slopes, which called for a refined yet precise gesture in the spatial reinterpretation.

Situated on an unassuming urban plot, the project reconfigures the property to maximize spatial efficiency, natural light, and connections to the surrounding environment while preserving key elements of its original character.

The goal was to create a practical, fluid living space for a large family with five children, close to the beach. This required the use of materials that are easy to maintain and clean.

The highlight is drawn to the extension at the back, made possible by moving forward the rear façade into the interior of the plot, resulting in the fully redrawing of the façade which allowed a good number of interior changes. This façade has few visual elements, where only the essential prevails in contrast with the diversity and characteristic disorder of the usual patio environments.

Located in Setúbal, this house with a ground floor and a basement, was substantially remodelled by recreating compartments to make it more spacious, functional and with natural lighting. Many steps have been taken in this direction, let's get to know them! The separation between social and private spaces was a fundamental part of this work, a goal only possible to achieve by creating a sanitary installation next to the hall, relocating the storage and laundry facilities in the large basement. Beyond the available space, the basement has others outstanding features like the incidence of natural lighting and direct access to exterior patio.

The intervened apartment is located in a residential building at a peripheral Lisbon´s neighbourhood. The renovation of the flat represented an enjoyable challenge. In fact, the apartment passed through a total change, including the social areas and the private spaces. In the social area the intervention involved the removal of the existing dividing wall between the living room and the kitchen, thus providing a single wider space. This transformation created an intimacy among the living and the cooking areas, easily achieved through a marble counter, which defines both areas without splitting them apart.
