Sittard, a city in the most southern province of the Netherlands: Limburg, consists of a historical inner city with a medieval rampart surrounded by firing fields. The design for the area around the city border introduces a new city heart in a close visual and physical link to the historical inner city. A big meeting square is a crucial part of the design and opens to the firing fields and the old city centre.

Jeanne Dekkers Architecture redeveloped a existing L-shaped farm in the hilly countryside of Limburg into a residential home with studio, exhibition hall, holiday accommodation and a carport. The authentic shape of the carre-farm is restored in a contemporary way. The carre is a farm which encloses an inner courtyard; a typology often found in the Province of Limburg. By means of a horizontal façade of larch wood, starting from the old farm into a new carport and closing the courtyard, the carre shape is restored.

The Tetra building is the new face of the independent Research Institute Deltares. The institute, which focuses on innovative solutions to Delta problems, was housed on an outdated campus designed in the sixties. Jeanne Dekkers Architectuur tried to find a suiting expression to the changing emphasize of the research of Deltares. New insights into the essence of hydraulic engineering, with more emphasis on the "soft side", the ecology and sustainability, asked for a different architectural language. The Tetra building is the first step in the new masterplan proposed by Jeanne Dekker Architectuur to make the campus future proof.

The multifunctional building Atolplaza is part of the revitalization of an eighties neighbourhood in Lelystad. Several facilities that were at first spread around the district, are integrated in one building. The building, a “broad” school (incorporating facilities for wider community use) with apartments, serves as a clearly recognizable landmark for the area. Along with the church and the busy Johan Cruijf soccer pitch, Atolplaza is the new heart of the neighbourhood.
