The house is characterized by a very wide picture-like window towards borrowed scenery of a 50-year-old cherry blossom tree. There is a street right in front of the north side of the land, and a high retaining wall of the adjacent land on the south side. Therefore, a room on the south side first floor is unlikely to benefit from the daylight.

The clients for this project requested a bath from which they could gaze out on a courtyard. We planted a symbol tree in the courtyard and designed the bathroom to look out over it.

This is a three-story steel-frame construction residence with atelier for a couple, who are both writers. The first floor is used primarily as their work space; second and third floors as residence.

This is a three-story residence on a 83.60 sqm plot of land, with three sides facing the roads. We designed a planar and compact three-story house allowing car and bicycle parking space.

This lot is bordered by a road to the west and boxed in by houses to the south, north, and east. In the future, houses will also be built across the road to the west, so our main challenges were to secure adequate privacy and natural light.
