The design for the Beacon School high school building is an integral part of a master plan, developed in 2016, for the establishment of the school's new campus, located in the former industrial neighborhood of Vila Leopoldina, in São Paulo. The early childhood and elementary school buildings are already built and active on the campus.

This three-bedroom apartment, located in Vila Mariana, underwent a renovation aimed primarily at revealing spatial qualities concealed by an excessively compartmentalized layout. Although facing the building's side setbacks — with no major views to exploit — the property stood out for receiving cross-ventilation and natural light on two facades. The intervention was designed precisely to enhance this potential.

Alfonso Bovero Apartment / Guido Otero Arquitetura

This project is the renovation of an apartment in the Grajaú building on Alfonso Bovero Avenue: a 5-story building clad in light blue and pink tiles, aligned with the sidewalk on one side, and on the other, featuring a lush view facilitated by the sloping terrain facing the Sumaré Creek valley.

São Sabas College / Guido Otero Arquitetura

Conversion of a residence in the Chácara Flora neighborhood houses the new unit of Colégio São Sabas. This project consists of adapting a former residence in the Chácara Flora neighborhood to house the new middle school unit (Ensino Fundamental II) of Colégio São Sabas, located on an urban-scale plot. The proposal includes four classrooms distributed within the original volume of the house, and two additional classrooms located on the lower portion of the site, created by elevating the sports court by half a level. The intervention also includes a dining hall and a multipurpose space open to the outdoors, along with support areas such as administration and coordination rooms.

Escola Verde´s new unit is located on Canal 6, 50 meters from the beach. In addition to its proximity to the beach, the strategic position of the land within the block also provided important elements for the project: it used to be an empty space between high rise vertical buildings facing the sea and a village of houses facing the mainland. The school building thus operates at the boundary between the scales of the neighbors and seeks ways to relate to the canal and the sea, creating a unique environment for students and the local community.
