The project in question is a large house in the center of Asunción that has gone through different phases and reforms and that once again will be converted into a home. The assignment requires the integration of some spaces and the improvement of the general conditions of the building without modifying the typology. This is done in a very simple way: removing the surplus constructions accumulated in previous renovations, favoring the entry of light and natural ventilation, repairing the construction where necessary and reusing the materials from the demolitions where possible.

The house is located on the outskirts of Asunción, in a closed neighbourhood within a Country Club in the City of Lambaré. At the time of the assignment, the office had a lot of constructive experience in renovating old buildings with a significant degree of deterioration (rehabilitation and recycling), so the professional challenge of this project was: "To design a house from SCRATCH on an empty lot of 16x50 meters, in an ideal context, safe, with a good orientation, with abundant vegetation and plenty of shade".
