The construction of a residence at Praia da Figueira in Angra dos Reis faced the challenge of being built on a sloped terrain with dense Atlantic Forest vegetation. The semicircular shape stems from the intention to orient the building towards both the sunset and the open sea horizon across the island of Gipóia.

The renovation of a first-floor shed in a small building located in the Pinheiros neighborhood, had the challenge of housing, in only 90m², the largest possible amount of shelves for hydroponic cultivation of vegetables from Fazenda Cubo, in an indoor system, with artificial light. The architecture becomes a support infrastructure for growing vegetables in the intra-urban space, reconfiguring the consumer-production relations established between the urban-rural. Through technology and architecture, the food production moves to the urban center through a hydroponic system of water recirculation, which allows the control of the number of nutrients received by the vegetables, photovoltaic lights, which allow the photosynthesis of the plants, and the acclimatized chamber, which allows the control of temperature, humidity, air quality, and pests, structuring a sustainable system, self-sufficient, with low water consumption and without pesticides.

When we faced the challenge of refurbishing two duplex apartments, the same but mirrored, for rental in a residential building still under construction, we sought at the same time to standardize some points of the project in order to facilitate the refurbishment phase that would happen concomitantly with the end of the building of the tower itself, but we also sought to give some kind of identity to each unit. Our proposal was to develop a unique project for both apartments, but applying the colors defined for the project in an inverted way in the floor and volumes of carpentry, alternating these between green and coral. For the kitchen and bathrooms, we used white countertops, more neutral, either in iron plate or in white granite, creating a dialogue with some already existing materials and delivered with the apartments.

The remodeling of an apartment in a building as important as the Trussardi building, a 1943 project by architect Rino Levi, was a great exercise and also a great challenge. Despite its historical and patrimonial importance, the building, located in São João Avenue, is today quite uncharacterized. The first objective of the project was to take up some elements of the original design of the apartment, in an attempt to respect the architect's intentions and bring back to the surface some important details that had been altered by all the renovations made over the years.
