Cohousing arises from the desire of three families to build a collaborative home where they can share the synergies that arise from similar life philosophies. A common understanding of the relationship between private and public spaces, along with the economic and social benefits of sharing these spaces, forms the foundation of this collaborative housing project.

Felip Miralles Cultural Center / eneseis Arquitectura

The Felip Miralles Cultural Center is located in the municipality of Benimantell, on the road through the town. By participating in this project, we aim to create a place to host and inspire local cultural activities, activities that will reach people across the region, given the building’s status as a university teaching venue. In essence, the building is a simplified townhouse, able to blend into the urban landscape, but with key features that will identify it as an iconic public space.

The plot’s location, on the San Juan beach in Alicante, was the launching pad for this project. It is situated within a development area in which unhindered views can be enjoyed over the open space that forms the golf course.

A privileged location, on the hillside of the Sierra de Bernia in Altea Hills, a mountainous area with astounding views over the bay, yet completely saturated with homes and a highly open programme of holiday dwellings, decisively conditioned the development of this project.

Eneseis Arquitectura designed a cultural centre in the heart of the old town in the “El Claustro” square of San Nicolas Co-cathedral in Alicante, Spain. The strategic point in the center of social and cultural life provides a space for the public to find resources about the city, as well as be exposed to works of art in showrooms and ateliers.
