The Natural Pavilion is an almost 100% biobased, circular, and fully demountable inspiration pavilion that can be rebuilt in a different configuration at a different location. The Dutch National Government’s Pavilion was designed and built within a year for the Floriade Expo 2022, and focuses on the spatial challenges currently facing the Netherlands: the energy and raw materials transition, solving the housing shortage, making agriculture more sustainable, restoring biodiversity, and adaptation to climate change. The Natural Pavilion serves as a showcase for innovative bio-based construction and contributes to the increased application and scaling-up of bio-based solutions.

A unique school in a unique location. The St. Nicolaaslyceum forms an integrated part of society, has ambitiously modern views and an open-minded outlook where education is concerned. Sports and culture are the spearheads that make the school stand out. Based on a vision that stimulates education and likes to offer its students a challenge, the design has resulted in a building that offers both security and challenges while supporting the educational concept. There is room for a wide range of cultural expression: the central atrium can be used as a theater with the bleacher stairs, there are exhibition walls and showcases. The concept of sports has been integrated in the building as a whole. Sunken below ground level, the sports accommodation offers extensive sports facilities, while on the outside it is covered with basketball pitches that students can use during their breaks.

Fall 2006 marked the beginning of a unique project in Amsterdam: the development of a residential block of 71 rent-controlled social housing units and 10 homes for purchase in the Zuidbuurt of the Steigereiland. Commisioned by Rochdale Projectontwikkeling for Stadgenoot, this block was established through a highly interactive process between the design team, the client and the future occupants. In fact, the two most remarkable elements of this project are its location and the extent to which the future inhabitants of the homes participated in different stages of the design.

The double dwelling was designed, developed and realized by architect Robert Alewijnse and designed as a singular architectonic object, housing two completely different homes. The eastern home was specifically designed for the architect's family and the western home was sold and adapted to the specific wishes of the new owners.
