The client, a marine rescue operations and engineering professional, chose a location near the airport in Vanana, Porbandar. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they discussed various design concepts and plans for their house. The site, which measures 65,000 sq. feet, required three bedrooms, large openings, and a green connection. The client wanted a soothing and functional house that was also parent-friendly, as it would be used by his in-laws frequently.

This is a farmhouse. It is a humble residence that has responded to the climate and site. It is a fun fact that the house is both an inward and outward-looking house at the same time. One of the USPs of the project would be that it connects well with the most playful element of nature – the sun through its dynamic perforated screens and courtyards that animate the spill-out spaces with playful shadows throughout the day. The site situates itself on the outskirts of Baroda near a village named Aampad.

On the plot of 24,600 Sq. ft in a prime residential area, client wanted to built their dream house keeping in mind the privacy from the surrounding at the same time associated with the natural environment as much as possible with large openings. We wanted to create a folded house which unfolds to its surrounding creating nice areas within each fold and that is what we have tried to achieve with these concrete folds.

This tight size plot of 1540 Sq. ft situated in residential area of Kareliabugh in Vadodara was a challenge for us in making sure that we deliver them their dream home with zero compromise on the functionality and aesthetic aspect. This residential project named “Arham” is a beautiful example of how all the requirements can be achieved within a restricted plot area. The planning of the complete house is as per Vaastu compliance. Their requirement was of four bedrooms with living, dinning, kitchen and all needful amenities.

Nestled amidst a sprawling 75,000 sq. ft. of lush green plot Nene's residence is an architectural delight that looks spectacular with its clean, bold lines defining its glory. The house is linear that runs along the east-west axis with the entrance being at the centre that parts the public and private spaces in two halves. The house is designed such that minimal heat penetrates but at the same time maximum natural light and ventilation floods in all the areas. With no additional floor plate, the house expands on the ground, housing four bedrooms, a lavish living, family area and a courtyard that is Zen through its placement and design. A luxurious swimming pool overlooks the family area that further opens up to a vast garden.
