The House and the Garden
This house is organized around two patios that give shape to the space and infuse it with meaning. They are not merely voids between walls—they are lived spaces that draw the garden into the interior and blur the boundaries between inside and out. In winter, they gather light generously; in summer, the water in the reflecting pool brings coolness and a gentle murmur that quietly accompanies life.

A land with a significant slope, filled with pine and oak trees and covered by a green mantle of spring, was what we found the first time we visited the place. An environment to respect and enhance. With its own identity and characteristics. It's beautiful when the site suggests from the beginning the place the house should occupy. The clearing of light between the pines even drew its dimension, marking its boundaries that did not grow with the desire to maintain all the trees and alter the terrain as little as possible. Therefore, the structure starts from the natural level, supported on a wall from which a strutted cantilever originates. From there, you can enjoy the views of the privileged pine forest that we already intuited, during the pleasant picnics we had in what now occupies the terrace. In it, a gap is cut to let the trunk of a pine tree pass.

On one-half garage on the other showroom, a space which is living room and gallery at the same time. The tini pavilion is created to contain a 1948 Porsche 356, and a 1959 Austin Healey 3000, as well as a seating area with a minibar. It aims to be, not a garage or a container, but a stage box. A stage box was created out of two totally prefabricated modules, transported separately by road, and assembled on-site creating a single, unique space. A black “curtain” encases the space which is lit by two spotlights.

The house as a lair, a hideout, a shelter. A reflection which distorts and expands the garden, while confuses and protects. I can not guess the inside, a bit closer, now i can peep through the great silver oculus drilling the reflection. But, What´s inside? a woman looks herself in a mirror, in a garden, immersed in a pond.
