Opportunities:
On December 2,2016, the World Industrial Design Conference opened successfully in Liangzhu Industrial Design Town, and the presence of Vice Premier Ma Kai of the State Council reflected a deeper understanding of the value of design to the economy society in China. Thanks to China's attention and sufficient resources, the Industrial Design Town has been identified as the permanent venue for the international communication conference. At the same time, the operation department needs to provide office and exhibition facilities for the resident agencies of the national industrial design associations. Based on the principle of nearby site selection and collective effect, the base of the project was finally determined in Qiu Jia Wu Village near the industrial design town.

Longyou Museum / CUC·ZOYO

In the 25th year of The Reign of The King of Qin (222 BC), he destroyed The State of Chu and set up Taimo County in the land of Gomer. Since then, Longyou has been under the pen of literati and poets, and it is also an important territory for all the military commanders to contend for. The long river of time has not only left abundant historical and cultural memories but also left abundant immovable cultural resources such as prehistoric sites, Longyou grottoes, residential gardens of historical buildings, Han Dynasty tombs group, Yuan Dynasty weir DAMS, and so on. After a long period of preparation and waiting, the completion of the Longyou Museum is like opening a time complex to carry historical memories, so that the "hidden treasure" of Longyou is no longer "independent".

Reservation and Monitor Center of Liangzhu Heritage Sites / CUC·ZOYO

Liangzhu Heritage site has successfully made into the World Cultural Heritage list on July the 6^th,2019. During the extensive qualification process, the post in-depth research capability as an important criterion has risen the standards of correspondent modern facilities as a solid platform. Renovating the existing industrial facilities in the core of the site has not only the benefit of compressing the construction time to meet investigation schedules for the World Heritage List application, but also providing a solution for the project to site as close to the core as possible without potential massive soil excavation. The site, Zhonglian Huaneng is located south to Mojiaoshan Palace ruins, adjacent to the south entrance of the Heritage Reserve and Liangzhu museum. They will serve as an on-site workstation which thrives to witness and participate in the coming excavation and research.

Hangzhou Liangzhu Mengxi Town / CUC·zoyo

The old Industrial Remain, the Reborn Liangzhu
Mengxi Town is the hometown of Shen Kuo and the first industrial design town in China, of which the name is homophonic with Mengxi (One of Shen Kuo's masterpieces' title). Every year, more than 500 design elites from more than 30 countries around the world will gather here. Architects of Zoyo are trying to find design basis from the historical relics of Liangzhu culture with thousand-year history and design means based on industry in order to create a special interval between the new and old in space, and the past and the future in time.
