The Fit Apartment deviates from the standard of most residential projects already carried out by the office, with a completely integrated character: Except for the bathroom, all walls have been eliminated, creating a continuous circulation throughout the social area, kitchen, office, and master bedroom. The proposal came from the owners' desire to create a sensation of more spaciousness in the 60 sqm apartment.

At first sight, the light entering the 9.5 meters wide windows in the living room captivates whoever enters the 2,000 ft2 apartment. The kitchen, however, was dark and segregated from the rest of the home. Another key issue was a narrow passageway existing in the hallway, only 78 cm wide. This turned out to be emerging from the structure of the apartment, comprised of three parallel concrete walls: two of them formed the extremities of the apartment, and the other one goes across its center, dividing the kitchen and the living room from the bedroom area, with only the mentioned narrow gap for passage.

The couple came to the office looking for a renovation project in their apartment located in Asa Norte, Brasília. When they got in touch with CoDA, they were living in Jakarta, Indonesia, and the office's biggest challenge was to adapt the process to the needs of a remote client, such as adapting the time zone and documenting the construction by video.

When the clients requested the renovation project of this apartment, located in Asa Norte in Brasília, the main concern was to expand the social areas. Previously, the couple lived in a duplex whose size was almost double the current one, but with the departure of their children and the desire to travel led them to considerably reduce the size of their new residence. However, the option for practicality should not impact the spacious space they were used to, nor their ability to receive family and friends at home.

It is always a pleasure and challenge to make new things while still respecting tradition, especially in a city such as Brasília where the heritage aspect comes from a very recent age. The apartment found stood out for being practically intact in relation to its original design. The building from the 60s is located in the oldest neighborhood in the city, Asa Sul.

Despite the large offer of apartments in Brasilia, few of them offer versatile plans adapted to a contemporary way of living. The couple, Juliana and Alison, sought out CoDA to transform their apartment into a more cozy and functional space. The couple's demands included a desire to expand their family in the future and to have a more stylish apartment. Among the favorite activities was the taste for cooking and receiving friends. From the beginning, the idea was to divide the space into two clear areas, the social, as integrated as possible, and the intimate, with the couple's suite, the baby's room, and an office, occasionally transformed into a guest room.

A white box floating on a concrete base. This sentence summarizes the proposed volumetric composition for the Lago Norte house project. The central idea of the project is to highlight the upper part of the lower part of the residence, like two independent universes. The ground floor, with a more open and integrated character, has a little delimitation between the rooms, only demarcated by differences in height, from the central hall of the room, up to the contiguous rooms, kitchen, barbecue, balcony.

The Bentes The house project sought these concepts to embrace a small - but expandable - family from Pará (Brazil). Located in a well-organized and almost completely constructed condominium, the residence sought to fit the local climate and context while taking advantage of the beautiful view of a nearby valley to the north.
