Gemak Shipyard Administration Office / CM Mimarlık

This office building is situated in the shipyard at the entrance of the bay on the south-east coast of the Marmara Sea. Ships and cargo boats from all over the world come to this shipyard, they are repaired, maintained, and they continue on their way. Steel material, paint, blasting process, and also the sound of metal are the reality of shipyards. The context of the area affected the design of the building. The design progressed with the answers sought for the question of how the ship construction, ship elements, and the use of materials can become a structural element for the fixed building.

A winery that takes place in Çanakkale’s Eceabat district in Gelibolu... The architectural project belongs to Tekeli-Sisa Architectural Partnership, which is one of the well established architectural offices in Turkey.We commenced our interior architectural project following the start of the construction phase of the building. We had the advantage of working within a relatively good timing, in presence of Dilgün Saklar and Mehmet Emin Çakırkaya from Tekeli-Sisa Office.

NoXX Apartment is located in a narrow dead end in Cihangir. Due to the location of the Project and the short timing for construction, conventional construction techniques seem unattainable, therefore a steel structure apartment building is designed with an industrial sensibility and as a homage to the rare standing structures from early century typical of the area.

This project is located in the Gebze/Kocaeli Tübitak MAM (Marmara Research Center) area. The fact that the present operational structure of the company demanded a campus style layout which relies on the coalescence of office space, recreational areas and meeting and service facilities, led us to a more diverse design concept rather than a conventional office building.
