The Villas in the Rolling Greens neighborhood are set in the unique landscape of Navarino Dunes within the Costa Navarino Resort in Messinia, Greece. Their innovative architectural design combined with sustainable construction, created nineteen prototypical holiday villas that embrace the views, adapt to the scale of the landscape, and blend harmoniously with the surrounding environment and aesthetics of Costa Navarino.

The small house is located in the third row from the Aegean shore in the randomly built Eastern Attika suburb of Artemis. The building houses the needs of a young small family, critically responding to its context as a parody of its own surroundings. The building aims at redefining the 'ephemeral' and flexible nature of living close to the coast, by achieving comfortable and high quality indoor and outdoor living spaces, revealing selected views to the sea while screening off its residents’ privacy from the close neighbors.

The single volume of one building is broken into smaller ones, different in height and size, placed freely but in relation to each other resulting into an ensemble. The ensemble is sited upon a solid stone and concrete platform at 80cm above a preserved agricultural field in immediate adjacency to the sea.
