Nestled on a forested slope of the Mantiqueira Mountains in Campos do Jordão, São Paulo, Langma House was designed to integrate organically with the topography and the natural context. The project stems from a careful analysis of the site's natural conditions, preserving its original terrain and native vegetation, resulting in a subtle footprint on the landscape.

This refuge is located on a farm in the metropolitan region of the city of Curitiba in southern Brazil. The shelter is based on a retaining wall made of “madeira rosa” stone from the Rio de Janeiro region. On one side there is a concrete terrace for a “fogo de chão”, and on the other side a garden of tropical plants that blend with the native vegetation of the site.

The Refuge in the Countryside was designed and executed by a modular metallic base of 360cm (width) X 360cm (length) X 250cm (height) with 10cm profiles. Located inside a Farm hotel, this project has three modules that together form the space for a couple to shelter from the weather without losing the privileged view of Campos Gerais do Paraná and Escarpa Devoniana.

This project is part of the accommodation group of a hotel in the municipality of Balsa Nova in southern Brazil. Implanted about 200 meters from a geological fault where it is possible to see great part of the “Serra do Mar”, the Bosque Refuge is attached to an arboreal massif of native Atlantic forest. Surrounded by important natural elements, the project opens to nature by two large glass planes, characterizing it as a link between nature and the man-made refuge.

Purunã Refuge is located in the Balsa Nova City at the foot of a geographical fault called Escarpa Denoviana. Its privileged view contemplates both the urban environment - cities of Campo Largo and Curitiba - as the nature of the Atlantic forest and the Serra do Mar. The refuge is protected to the west by native forest and opens to the east and north for a panoramic view of the Brazilian nature.

Located in the region known as Campos Gerais of the state of Paraná in Brazil, the Refúgio da Cainã is one of the accommodations of a farm hotel located exactly in the area of a geological fault called the “Escarpa Devoniana”. With a privileged view in the foreground of the vast native forest, on the horizon is possible to see the city of Curitiba and the mountains, distant about 50km and 120km respectively.
