Designed for a young couple, this project aimed to bring modernity and seamless integration to the home's spaces. Conceived as a long-term investment, the renovation was essential to accommodate a new program tailored to all stages of the family's life. Certain original elements of the residence were required to be preserved: the limestone flooring throughout the social and outdoor areas, and the existing millwork in the living room. However, this cabinet was completely restored—updating its color and wood veneer—to better align with the clients' taste and the new architectural concept.

In this 80m² apartment, we eliminated internal partitions as much as possible to increase the sense of space and maximize natural light, without compromising the resident's privacy.

This 150-square-meter apartment is located in a traditional 1960s building on Av. 9 de Julho in São Paulo. Our design starting point was to maximize the apartment's minimalist and modernist essence.

This project has a unique premise: the clients are a young, newlywed couple who completed a minor renovation in a rented apartment. Consequently, they chose to invest in special, well-curated, and timeless pieces that could easily adapt to future homes and different stages of life.
