The project is located in Parque Leloir, a residential enclave in the western Buenos Aires metropolitan area defined by its dense tree canopy, winding streets, and low-density urban scale. Unlike the surrounding fabric, the plot lacked significant preexisting trees. This particularity oriented the project toward an open architectural logic, conceived to be completed by an integrated landscaping proposal.

Casa 4H is located in Costa Esmeralda, an enclave on the dunes of the Buenos Aires coast where native grasslands coexist with a young forest of acacias and maritime pines. The lot, situated in an area near the sea but without direct ocean views, finds its greatest potential in a dense pre-existing pine grove. Here, the architecture assumes the role of mediator, integrating the landscape as the heart of the living experience.

In a place with very few neighboring houses, with little original vegetation, and with a new plantation still very incipient, the house had to be designed lacking all the data provided by a consolidated neighborhood.

It is a rural urbanization of large lots, developed on the former ranch lands of the Pampa plains of Buenos Aires. It is a recent urbanization with a young afforestation of acacia trees and maritime pines and some sectors of consolidated forest. The site, with an extensive forty-five-meter front, belongs to the latter sector, so that the house had to incorporate this privileged landscape, while at the same time protecting its privacy towards the street. It was also necessary to consider that the dune it is part of has a slope of almost two meters overlooking the front and that, although its surroundings have a dense grove of trees, the land is only partially
covered with species.
