The architectural style&nbsp;is very clear: organized in a square layout, the outer perimeter is enclosed by circular metal pillars that support the generous overhang and cover the balcony, and mark the inner courtyard of the same format that occupies the central position.</p>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>Our challenge was to unite tree existing buildings with different architectural characteristics to house the Museu de Arte do Rio, the school “A Escola do Olhar” as well as cultural and leisure spaces. The existing buildings, the palace Palacete Dom João”, the police building and the old central bus station of Rio, connected shall be part of the major urban redevelopment in the historic downtown of <a href="/tag/rio-de-janeiro">Rio de Janeiro</a>. For each construction we analysed different levels of preservation.</p>]]>

There, in front of the client, he sketched what later would be the transverse section of what was being proposed: a vacation house, for a couple and their two kids.
