A space for hosting friends and family was the main wish of this entrepreneurial couple from Curitiba, who chose Florianópolis for a retreat connected with nature. New remote work opportunities accelerated their decision to purchase, and today the family splits their routine between the two homes. From the project's briefing, the clients' primary request was for the house to have a light atmosphere that maximized views of the sea and the forest. To establish a connection with the ocean, the interior design concept began with a palette of blue tones that runs through almost every room. In terms of textures, paneling, wicker, and light wood are prominent elements in the coastal composition.

ACATE (Santa Catarina Technology Association) is the main representative of the technology sector in Santa Catarina, encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation. It has over 1,200 members across 13 hubs. In 2019, another ACATE Innovation Center (CIA) was inaugurated in the city of São José, Santa Catarina. The architectural project was developed by Studio Methafora, while the corporate interior design is a partnership between Desterro Arquitetos and Beatriz Zeglin. Two spaces were designed for this hub. On the ground floor, the LinkLab is installed—a program that has been bringing medium and large companies closer to startups since 2007. Meanwhile, a space for ACATE was developed on the upper floor.
