An interior design project for an approximately 90 m² apartment in a new building, which was originally divided into two bedrooms and one suite. From the very first visit, however, it was clear that the clients had different plans: they wanted a fluid, spacious, open, and integrated home.

The project involved designing the model apartment for the Artsy Building, a development in the Cidade Baixa neighborhood of Porto Alegre. The proposal needed to reflect the concept of a casual and contemporary home for a development that features compact residential units and large, shared common areas. The unit in question is a 50-square-meter studio on the 13th floor, overlooking Farroupilha Park, one of the city's key green spaces.

Ginkgo Café and Florist / BARRA Arquitetos

The design for Ginkgo Café and Florist is situated in an unusual urban context. The adjacent lot was transformed into Travessa Lanceiros Negros, a sloping pedestrian pathway connecting two streets at different topographical levels, which turned the intervention site from a mid-block lot into a corner property. Consequently, the existing house gained a new public facade facing the pathway, which, however, was a blank wall. From this new urban context emerged the project's primary premise: to create a new active facade for Travessa Lanceiros Negros.
