Science and Innovation Centre in Ventspils was designed as a union of architecture and landscape. Instead of proposing a landmark on the bridge axis, we leave it open and inviting. The silhouettes of the building and the hill osculate here. New public spaces such as the science hill mounting up from the plain, an open-air roof terrace and an overlook spot are designed for both the locals and city guests.

The biggest challenge was to create a certain environment that would invite and attract customers, guests, and employees to the building even in the middle of the countryside.

The main architectural idea was provided by its siting in the Pavilniai Regional Park : the house has to dissolve in the landscape. Curved roofs all the way to the ground, and fluid forms extended by timber pergolas, are the most important architectural means achieving this effect.

DnB NORD bank building is situated along Skanstes Street in a newly developed multifunction area to the north of Riga's Old Town. Bank building is the first office building in the newly shaped block and individually interpret planned urban / architectural block conception. Angular location suggested the building should be a clear boundary / corner formant of the block. But at the same time the building was created as an open, inviting and involving inside both visitors and workers .

It is definitely the landscape that has mostly impacted the architectural solution. The very first impression suggests that building appears from the ground and vanishes somewhere in the surroundings.
