Designed as a family summer retreat, Casa do Sol is located in a mountainous region in the city of Triunfo, considered the highest area of the state of Pernambuco. The terrain, positioned in a southeast-northwest direction, has a front of 20 meters and a depth of about 87 meters that allowed the construction of the main building in a central position, making the most of the local view. The place is surrounded by a lush landscape, which has been utilized by the architecture project, standing out the sunrise between the mountains and the sertão valley. The built area, approximately 454.47 m², is divided into blocks, all on the ground floor. The main house has porches on the front and back facades, creating spaces to welcome residents and guests. In response to the clients' will to recall childhood memories, the proposal resembles a typical Brazilian sertão house, with an exposed roof on the main facade and defined by wide porches.

Located in the "oasis" of Cariri, in the south of the state of Ceará, in the city of Barbalha, the Alta house had its layout defined from a cashew tree on the corner lot of a condominium. It is a single-story building connected to the natural landscape inspired by the idea of "being in contact with nature", a principle established by the modernist architect from Pernambuco, Armando de Holanda, in his book "Roteiro para construção no Nordeste".

The project contemplates renovating and expanding a long-standing family dream: a refuge to escape from the urban routine. The Canta Galo house was designed based on the needs of the family, as a place to foster good memories from the connection between the natural landscape of the Chapada do Araripe and the architecture. It's located in the rural sertão of the city of Missão Velha, in the state of Ceará, northeastern Brazil, known for its semi-arid climate during most of the year. This region has great environmental importance due to its biodiversity and historical-geological relevance. Popular culture has taken root in this place, keeping memories of people from this region, represented mainly by the vernacular architecture, with its porches, and as an element of connection and socio-cultural exchanges between people, the environment, and the landscape.
