Architecture that connects: new UK Terminal opens in the historic Amsterdam Central Station. The opening of the new Eurostar UK Terminal at Amsterdam Central Station marks an important step in the development of international rail traffic between London and Amsterdam. This new terminal offers a spacious, sustainable, high-quality, and accessible border crossing in the heart of Amsterdam. Architects from ZJA Architects & Engineers and Superimpose Architecture, commissioned by NS Stations, Eurostar, and ProRail, have carefully integrated the new terminal into Amsterdam Central Station, a national monument. This 'terminal of the future' defines a new era for cross-border rail traffic, and brings together various time periods, technologies, aesthetics, and efficiency.

Both inspiring and principled, venue building Silt Middelkerke is an asset to the Belgian coast in several respects. With a great love of the sea and the dunes, this new eye-catcher combines coastal reinforcement, liveability and sustainability. The extraordinary design is a creation of architecture bureau ZJA and DELVA landscape architects, in collaboration with OZ and Bureau Bouwtechniek and a wealth of experts who together make up Bouwteam Nautilus.

The former Diamond Exchange, Capital C Amsterdam, dating from 1911, has undergone a major renovation designed by the architectural studio ZJA in collaboration with Heyligers architects. The monumental building has been largely restored to the original Gerrit van Arkel design and has regained its original allure. The Dutch monument is crowned with a striking, spatial dome of glass and steel; the High Light. The common threads running through the building are about twenty art and design projects.

The Freedom Museum in Groesbeek, the Netherlands, has the shape of an enormous parachute, a recognizable symbol of liberation at the end of the war. The museum is housed in a Shaded Dome, an innovation of Shaded Dome Technologies, a company founded by architectural studio ZJA, Royal HaskoningDHV, and Polyned. With a Shaded Dome as its roof, the museum has a distinctive and recognizable shape, but with its fluid form and its skin, it also fits into the green, hilly landscape of Groesbeek.
