A vacation home that opens up to the view of the lagoon and the lush green gardens. This was the premise for the conceptualization of this architectural and interior design project. Designed for a generous family that loves to host friends, the house features spacious areas and fluid circulation. Openings were created to allow the exterior to connect with the interior, establishing a balance between transparency, solids, and voids. The textures of the materials were left exposed to engage the senses and foster a deeper interaction between user and nature. Touch, sight, and smell are engaged to feel through looking and fully awaken all other senses.
