El Gulungo is located on a lot surrounded by a sanctuary area next to the park Parque Lineal La Frontera. From its organic geometry and unusual volumetry, the building seeks to blend in with the existing vegetation of its surroundings.

The main objective for the development of this home for its 4 members was to find the continuous relationship of the spaces with the exterior, making the forest surrounding the project the main player and attraction. Therefore, there are overtures in the volumes accompanied by floor-to-ceiling stained-glass windows, allowing the connection and mimic with nature.

In Capiro, Antioquia in the middle of a 6854 m2 lot, which enjoys an incredible landscape and is surrounded by a small forest, the Luna Verde house of 411m2 is born, apparently extracted from nature. It fits the land in such a way that it does not seem to be an outsider to its surroundings, even from some angles it gives the feeling of a one-floor house. It is a traditional family house with a two-sided roof, wooden trusses, floors and walls, warm burnt brick, wide and open floor-ceiling windows, HR sheet, metallic structure, and a stone base, which confines stability and body. All these elements make this a house that can only belong to this place. The way of mixing these materials with its environment and lighting designed in detail, gives the house a romantic ambiance, creating cozy and rustic spaces, and making its composition timeless.

C+N House / ALH Taller de Arquitectura

The C+N family house is located in Rio Negro, Antioquia, within a parcel of houses on a 3,630 m2 lot. It is strategically placed on-site to blend in with its surroundings, making the forest an active agent in the architectural design. Taking this main purpose into account, a volume with internal gaps was raised where the forest merges within the house, making a direct interior-exterior relationship. In some parts of the house, it is evident how the landscape becomes the protagonist.
