The Buritis House project was born from the desire to enhance the visual relationship between architecture and the Cerrado landscape, while addressing the needs of a large family. As a design strategy, we sought to explore the potential of the plot — which enjoys a privileged view of a preserved natural area — and respond thoughtfully to its specific constraints.

The terrain in a gated community in the city of Uberlândia - MG presented a steep slope that allowed the DB House to be built at a point above the natural level to maximize the view of the region and integrate it with the leisure areas. As a result, the service spaces could be placed on the lower floor, dividing the residence's sectoring into two levels.

NZ House / Aguirre Arquitetura

Located in a gated community in the city of Uberlândia-MG, the NZ house was designed for a family that enjoys receiving friends and family. To that end, the house's U-shaped layout allows for well-defined sectoring on a single floor, making the leisure and living spaces the focal point of the house's dynamics.

Located in a residential neighborhood in Patos de Minas - MG, the LFF House sought through its volumetry to introduce security to the residence without the need for frontal closing. There are two well defined blocks that open to the interior of the terrain and protect it from the exterior environment.

Located in Uberlândia-MG, the AK house seeks to use the architectural program to integrate the living spaces, thus allowing the residence to adapt to the needs of its users. The program is distributed linearly on a single floor following the terrain, and the well-defined sectoring permits the social area to play a structuring role in the project.

In this project, it is the landscaping that is the protagonist. We organized the residence on a single floor connected to two internal gardens, thus accommodating the residents' request to contemplate nature from within a closed condominium. Designed to meet the needs of the residents to contemplate nature within a gated community in the city of Uberlândia-MG, the Malu house is organized on a single floor connected to two internal gardens, cultivating a strong connection between the living spaces and the landscaping. These gardens play a structuring role for the project, interlinked to the social areas to create a wide and fluid space.

The project was designed for a small family, who wanted an integrated home, where its social areas were well-defined, clearly separated from the private areas and services which are isolated from the neighbors. Given these assumptions, the project developed in a minimalist manner, opting in this case natural-looking materials, with pure and imposing forms.
