ICF La Sablière owns the Fulton block, located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, on the banks of the Seine. The existing real estate complex known as "Fulton" was built in the 1950s by architect Daniel Michelin and is occupied by 133 dwellings. The site benefits from a very beautiful location, clear, in front of the seine, near the bridge of Bercy in the East and the museum of fashion and design at the West, a contemporary building realized by the architects Jakob + Macfarlane.

The building is defined by two sorts of façade. The characteristic of the south façade are loggias, protected by colored glass slides and a casing of wood slatted. The façade is changing according to the point of view. The north façade is colored, contrasting the south façade, while highlighting its moving side.

This project answers to the necessity of build cheaply, offering individual housings in wood environmentally. Wood allows thermal and acoustics comfort, and gives an original and contemporary side to the project. It proposes a new image of social housing.

You might say there was nothing original about an estate made up of small timber-clad houses in the heart of the Landes. And yet the road that leads to it is strewn with fragments of the so-called "built environment":unfinished estates that seem to begin and end nowhere, streets that are too wide, roundabouts, and low-lying houses whose walls are rendered in colours that beggar definition.

Positioned at an intersection and near a shopping center, it must manage its urban context, the flow of cars, tramway flows and thus pedestrians flows. This concentration has led to the creation of a square mineral easing movement and allowing the building to sit in the continuity of the public domain.

- The ground floor: A grid of expanded metal wraps and mask a parking on half level of around thirty parking spaces. The grid that protects the ground floor of shots and theft will be a support for climbing plants.
