CCC is a demolition and renovation project of a multi-level house dating back to 1800 and built in the center of Catania. The existing house was on three levels and had a pitched roof. The design’s intent was to respect the existing building combining it with a strong search for the overall architectural image. Many elements of local Sicilian tradition come into play, a few colors and materials are used, and there are many points of contact between old and new.

The winery is located in an agricultural area in the hamlet of Passopisciaro, within the municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia. The scenario is the typical Etna rural landscape inserted between the vineyards and located at about 600 meters from the sea level.

CAM is the project of transformation of an abandoned technical space placed on the top floor of a residential building in Catania (Sicily). The site is very high potential thanks to the large terrace that offers both a view of the city centre and a view of the volcano Etna.

The project regards the expansion and the renovation of a farm in the Sicilian hillside, on the slopes of Volcano Etna. The design effort aimed to respect the existing architecture and at the same time to search for a global image. Several features of the local tradition come into play, creating many points of contact between old and new: simple forms and few materials interact with the historical context.
