Ekadea Studio is a ceramic workshop shaped to envelop: its form is born in shadow and accompanies those who cross its threshold. Curved walls rise from the base and define functions, paths, and boundaries. A wooden structure, perforated to frame glimpses or solid to accommodate residual spaces, establishes a rhythm of thresholds and shelter.

A primordial kindergarten, shaped by the spirit of the place and the emotions of the child. A space both protected and dreamlike, safe yet open to wonder. A small village, an abstract ensemble of pyramidal volumes joined by open courtyards. A vermilion school, warm and welcoming, rising among trees, nestled in green.

Mosca.Bianca is a workshop designed as an exhibition space. A ceramic workshop where a single sculptural gesture portrays the entire process of terracotta crafting. The form is shaped like clay on the potter's wheel, molded twisting from the ceiling. The space is tensed by the centripetal force of the design gesture, concentrating the atmosphere around a single zenithal light. Like a sacral element, perfectly aligning with the lamp that pierces the stereotomic shape above, a seemingly monolithic exhibit altar diagonally stands out in the space.

Not a Rural House highlights an Italian regulatory paradox. An old, crumbling barn to be demolished constrains the shape and height of the new house, forced into the outline of the old ruin. The result is a "fake," a contemporary home with the appearance of a historic one. Memory and history are thus reduced to a blind reiteration of traditional façade finishes or ratios, typical of a time gone by and offspring of abandoned building techniques. If regulations impose a fake rural house, a non-rural house indeed, dressed up in the costume of tradition, architecture has the task of declaring its true nature, unmasking the " make-up " of forgery.
