Qingjiang Furong Pavilions / FLIP studio

The town of Qingjiang lies between the northern foothills of the Yandang Mountains and Yueqing Bay, with the Furong Pond area at the heart of its regional ecological corridor. Against the backdrop of growing suburban agro-cultural tourism, the project centers on Furong Pond, establishing two key landscape nodes: one at the Ecological Island Wharf and the other at Qingyang Park on the opposite shore. By reviving a short-distance ferry route, the initiative aims to create a distinctive water-based ecological and cultural destination for Qingjiang.

Beyond serving locally inspired signature coffee and food, the café focuses on human gathering and interaction — on how energy flows, accumulates, and connects within a spatial setting. We developed the project holistically, including brand strategy, naming, visual identity, and interior design.

An Event Route - Drop-Stop is located in the scenic area of Yandang Mountain in Wenzhou, Zhejiang. It marks the first stop on the "Event Route," a path we designed to introduce rhythm and narrative into the repetitive, mechanical journey of winding mountain ascents. Amid the grandeur of the mountain ranges, we sought to create pauses, like commas and semicolons in a piece of writing, to punctuate and enrich the experience.

Shangen Village is a renovation project in Wenzhou, dedicated to transforming the once traditionally built village into a tourism destination. SpActrum left the project soon after we proposed the master plan during 2017-2018. The village has been hugely cleaned up since then but has lost some of its ancient ambience. The once charming chaos has turned into the blankness of purposeful building activity. The SpActrum team became involved again, aiming to recall and restore the power of ambiguity once felt on the site, and started to work on an empty plot by the village bridge.

This old building in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties has been in disrepair for a long time. The mottled bricks and broken walls show its old age. Due to the function and actual protection needs, the condition that the old building must be placed at the second-floor height undoubtedly increases the difficulty of design and implementation. However, the designers gave a satisfactory answer: they completed the crossing of several hundred years in the new and old space, carried the space theme of “let Wenzhou return to Wenzhou”, and make the old buildings knowable, perceptible and usable. This is the place spirit conveyed by Yongning Academy.

Built on piers above the Ou- River in the city of Wenzhou, this fine dining restaurant occupies the threshold between the city and the tidal estuary which flows through the city. This is one of the feature buildings along the 1.8km Wenzhou Ou-River waterfront new development master plan, including landscape, six brand new buildings and three new harbors designed by AntiStatics Architecture in the past two years.

Surrounded by mountains, a large roof, more than 100 meters long and more than 30 meters wide, lies on one side of the mountain, leaning on a hillside about 300 meters high, and facing the west and the provincial road. In the settlement villages on the other side of the mountain, the residential houses lean against the mountain, and the eaves are cascaded. This is Xikeng Town, Wencheng County. As one of the four ethnic towns in Zhejiang, it has strong customs of She people. This large roof is Wencheng Forest Oxygen Bar Town Parlor.

TOD International New City sales office is an experimental architecture piece designed by NAN Architects. The project is located next to the S1 Railway Technology City Station, at the intersection of Wenzhou Avenue and Yongle Road. It is an undeveloped land. The site is divided into north and south two parts, by the commercial street leading to the railway. The project is located on the northwest side of the site, facing the railway, surrounded by multi-level commercial streets, subway stations, parking lots and other functional areas. "How to create an organic connection between people and city through porosity is the leading concept of this project.

The land is long and narrow, backed by high-rise residential quarters and facing the green axis park. In the same position as this billboard, a R&F Central Park Club will be built to be used as a living room and cultural display in the city.
